Safety Precautions
Personnel will be immediately available for security when needed.

Medication
Each resident must be capable of self-administering his/her own medications. A resident not capable of this will be supervised by the facility’s personnel. Upon admission ALL medications (whether prescription or over the counter) shall be turned over to the Manager of the facility for safekeeping. No medications shall be permitted in the resident’s room.

Emergencies
In an emergency, the resident’s responsible party and physician will be notified. If the physician or his designated alternate cannot be reached, this facility reserves the right to transfer the resident to the emergency room of the closest hospital if considered appropriate. Except in any emergency, no resident will be transferred or discharged without prior notification of the responsible party or next of kin.

Smoking & Alcohol
Smoking inside the facility is prohibited for residents, visitors, guests and personnel. Smoking is only permitted outdoors and only then in designated areas. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the premises.
